Blizzard recently hosted a stream to introduce the new class, Spiritborn, which will be accessible on 8th of October as part of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. This class hails from the Nahantu civilization, a new region introduced in the expansion. The Spiritborn is designed to be highly adaptable, boasting the highest speed and agility among all classes in the game.
Key Feature
A key feature of the Spiritborn is its ability to summon four distinct animal spirits for combat assistance: a jaguar, a gorilla, an eagle, and a centipede. Each spirit offers unique abilities; the gorilla excels in defense with damage reduction and reflection capabilities, the eagle provides precise and rapid attacks, and the jaguar inflicts area-of-effect damage. Players have the flexibility to summon either a single spirit or a combination of spirits to suit their strategic preferences.

Spirit Guardians
When assembling your Spiritborn build, you have the flexibility to focus on a single Spirit Guardian identity or mix and match multiple ones. This customization is deepened through the Spirit Hall, your unique class mechanic. In the Spirit Hall, you can choose one Spirit Guardian to devote yourself to, granting you a primary passive that aligns with that Guardian’s playstyle. Additionally, you can select a secondary Guardian for a different bonus. If you prefer the style of one Guardian, you can fully dedicate yourself to them to receive both benefits.
Weapon and Gear
As a Spiritborn, you'll wield glaives, polearms, and quarterstaffs. At launch, you'll have access to a complete range of Ancient and Legendary items tailored for the Spiritborn, including specialized Tempering recipes.
Conclusion
Spiritborn unique abilities and flexible playstyle make them a strong contender in the fight against the forces of Hell. Whether you prefer a strategic approach or a more aggressive playstyle, the Spiritborn's depth and versatility ensure they are a valuable addition to any player's roster.
